Add this to your leadership toolbox

Leadership for me is influence. I have heard many people define it this way over my lifetime. So, I’m not coming up with anything original here.

And, I think there are many ways a person can create that influence in people’s lives.

However, I think serving others is by far the #1 way to create influence.

In that serving others as a way to becoming or growing your leadership - your influence, I also believe you win as a leader by leading with enthusiasm.

A combination of serving others and being enthusiastic about what you’re leading the way in is powerful.

I think someone can serve others and create influence in order to lead and do well but I say serving others and truly approving of what you’re leading in takes you up the mountain evening further as a leader.

Enthusiasm comes when you approve of something. People often say that I’m enthusiastic about the town I live in and that’s because I approve of the town I live in.

I’m bought in and it shows.

Serving + Enthusiasm = Better Leadership
