Becoming
When I was in my early 20's, I had a burning question in my heart: What does it take to truly become the person God had called me to be? The answer I heard was simple, yet profound: “Monday through Sunday.”
It wasn’t about a single moment of inspiration or a once-a-week service. It was about daily consistency, living out my faith every day of the week. God began to show me in His Word how transformation works. Scriptures like Joshua 1:8, 1 Peter 2:2, Romans 12:1-2, Matthew 6:33-34, and Psalm 1:2 all pointed to the same truth: Becoming like Christ requires being rooted in His Word consistently.
This revelation led me to a phrase I now live by: Go Win.
“Go Win” means being consistent in doing the right things that allow you to achieve the wins you’ve defined for your life, wins that align with God’s purpose for you, so that you can live out your greatest story. For me, the ultimate win is becoming like Christ.
But here’s the key: if I want to become like Christ, I must be consistent in His Word.
The Word of God transforms me from the inside out. It reshapes my thinking, recalibrates my focus, and rewrites the narrative of my life. My thought life determines who I am becoming. Romans 12:2 reminds me that transformation happens through the renewing of my mind, and that renewal comes from soaking in Scripture.
Without a win, there is no story. Life without intentional pursuit of Christ is a series of empty moments. But with the win clearly defined, becoming like Christ, every day becomes part of the greatest story I could ever live.
So what does this journey of becoming look like?
● Daily time in God’s Word. Not just reading, but letting it shape the way I think.
● Consistent alignment with His will. Seeking first His kingdom over my own agenda.
● Living with intentionality. Every choice moves me toward or away from the person I am becoming in Him.
Becoming like Christ is not about perfection, it’s about consistency. It’s about showing up Monday through Sunday, allowing God to write His story in your life one day at a time.
Your greatest story is waiting to be lived. Define your win. Discover your go. Go Win.
Prayer for me. ❤️
