#83 Cheryl Tarter
Cheryl Tarter is a retired choir teacher. She taught in Guthrie Public Schools and Edmond Public Schools for a total of 32 years. Other than being born in California while her dad was stationed at Camp Pendleton, she have lived in Guthrie her whole life. Her parents are Raymond & Sylvia Ochs. Her husband and partner in life was Clay Tarter. Linh Sasser, at age 16, came to live with us in May of 1998, becoming the daughter they were meant to enjoy. Throughout her teaching career she has also always been involved in church music ministry. She currently serves as minister of music at Spring Creek Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.
