Where were you born specifically?
Wichita, Kansas
When did you move to Guthrie?
When I was three months old, September 2002. My parents wanted to move back so they could raise their kids around family and in the Guthrie community.
What's your favorite Guthrie-related memory?
Going to the annual 89ers parade because my whole family gets together and blocks off a section of a block and we all wear matching green “Family of the Road” shirts then we have a huge cookout after.
What's the best part about living in Guthrie?
The small community. No matter what it is or who it is, when someone needs help the community joins together.
What does Guthrie have that other towns don't?
The feeling of belonging because wherever you go, you feel like you belong.
Are you a GHS alumni?
Almost!!!! Class of 2020!!!
If you lived here at some point and moved back why?
It’s too great to leave but in the fall I’ll be moving to Norman for college but I plan to come back because I know I want to start a family here.
Where do you currently work and how long?
The Dominion House since October.
What do you love most about your job?
I love serving others especially when citizens of Guthrie attend the events.
If you grew up in Guthrie and had your first job here...where? Did you get fired?
Bentons Service Center for a year and a half. I had to quit because school was starting back up and I was very busy.
Do you have family here? If so explain...
I feel like I’m related to everyone I see. My entire family was born and raised in Guthrie.
How did you first hear or learn about the GuthrieAmerica brand?
I got a grey GuthrieAmerica shirt for my birthday in the summer right after they came out at Red Brick Nights.
Why do you wear GuthrieAmerica tee?
To represent to the BEST TOWN EVER!
What are your favorite things to do in Guthrie?
My favorite thing to do is go to Guthrie sporting events, Red Brick Nights, 89ers Parade and carnival, and shopping local.
How would you define what it means when you hear or say COMMUNITY WINS?
When everyone in the community works together we can achieve anything and everything.
Anything significant about your life you would like to share?
I am one of the GHS valedictorians and will be attending the University of Oklahoma in the fall. I’m also the goalkeeper for the high school soccer team.
Lastly, we love SHOUT OUTS! Who do you want to give a shout out to?
I want to shoutout Jeff Jordan! He is one of the English teachers at the high school. Mr. Jordan has made an impact on not only my life but so many other students as well even if he didn’t have them as a student. He also won Teacher of the Year which he deserved!
