GuthrieAmerica Story: Meet Tori Trice

Where were you born?  If born in Guthrie, where (specific place)? Here! Logan County Hospital July 10, 1979.

What’s your favorite Guthrie-related memory? Growing up with my cousins and friends. I have very few childhood memories that don't include Justin, Edward, or the friends I grew up while living at First Capitol Apts.

What’s the best part of living in Guthrie? Being surrounded by my family... It's good and bad. I'm never alone, but then again I'm never alone.

What does Guthrie have that other towns don’t? Red Brick streets lol

Are you a GHS Alumni?  GHS class of 1997

Where do you currently work and how long? I'm currently the GHS Registrar. I started November 2014 and this fall will begin my 4th semester in that position.

If you grew up in Guthrie and had your first job here…where? My 1st job was my senior year of high school at Jim's Super Thrift.

Do you have family here?  Yes. Isn't every body in Guthrie related, but seriously most of my family is right here. Stevenson and Trice. If not here, they're still close.

How did you first hear or learn about the Guthrie America brand? Social media... Primarily Instagram and the #GuthrieAmerica.

What do you think about the GA brand? I think it's cool. My dad has always referred to Guthrie as "Guthrie America" so he's one of the first people I shared it with.

Why do you wear GuthrieAmerica Tee? I wear my blue one to show school spirit and to support my son who participates in high school athletics. I have a black one too so I can wear it with anything.

What are you favorite things to do in Guthrie? Watch live performances at the Pollard Theater.
